It was a harried Haring Christmas

Each year at Christmas time, for the past few years now, I do a series of portrait-type paintings for a group of friends. I've posted about them here before. Each series is inspired by a silly theme, although 2010 took a turn towards realism.

This past Christmas? I had fun doing a riff on Keith Haring's signature style. These are the results.

The previous series...
Christmas 2010: Christmas series 2010
Christmas 2009: Christmas departure
Christmas 2008: And then it was Christmas
Christmas 2007: Cat scratch Christmas
